Publisher Basics & Beyond

Learn to build appealing, professional-looking publications - everything from greeting cards to newsletters to product catalogues - using this integral component of the Microsoft Office suite. Students will learn to start a new document from a blank slate or using one of Publisher’s many attractive templates. Customizing the document and adding content then become the focus as students master the process of applying color schemes, adjusting document size and margins, and inserting a wide array of document components: placeholders for photos, shapes, lines, pre-set advertising graphics, headers and footers, and calendars. The class wraps up with printing and sharing options, and students leave with a completed publication.
